Description

Activity time: Please choose starting from two days from today (for example: if today is 1/1, the earliest booking date would be 1/3).

Among the numerous mountain trails in Hualien's Taroko National Park, there is one trail known as the "Peach Blossom Land in the Clouds." This is the DaLi Trail, leading to a secluded tribal community within the park, which is the only remaining indigenous settlement. The trail ascends steep mountain slopes, featuring staircases and informational signs along the way.

The DaLi Trail primarily winds through lush low-altitude broadleaf forests, reaching the DaLi community at an altitude of 915 meters, taking approximately 3 hours one way. Some residents still inhabit this area, cultivating crops such as bamboo and taro, offering glimpses of rural farming life.

As you hike, you'll hear the sounds of insects and birds, and if you're lucky, you may even encounter squirrels, Formosan macaques, and other wildlife. At the highest points, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the magnificent Pacific coastline and the famous Qingshui Cliffs.

Along the trail, you may also pass by remnants of early cable car stations or large logging machinery. Finally, the destination is the DaLi community church, offering expansive panoramic vistas that make it a must-visit spot.

Participants

-Children aged 10 and above can participate. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.
-For safety reasons, ensure good health suitable for engaging in outdoor activities. Those with sudden illnesses such as heart disease, major illnesses, cardiovascular disease, asthma, epilepsy, pregnant individuals, or those unable to complete the itinerary independently, should not participate.

Minimum Participants

If the minimum number of participants isn't met, the organizer will notify for postponement or cancellation.

- Activity arrangements may be adjusted due to participant conditions, facility conditions, or weather factors, prioritizing safety and overall quality.

- In case of typhoons, heavy rain, or other uncontrollable factors, if the company deems the day unsuitable for the activity, the company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary. Participants will be notified via phone or message immediately. Please ensure correct contact information to avoid inconvenience.

- Participants are expected to adhere to certain rules throughout the activity for safety and environmental conservation. Failure to comply may result in accidents for which the company is not liable.

- Participants who do not attend or are late (over 20 minutes) will be automatically disqualified without refund or rescheduling.

- Photos taken during the activity may be used by the company for promotional purposes.

Attire

For hiking activities, please wear appropriate hiking attire, comfortable shoes, and consider bringing hiking poles.

Friendly Reminders

- Please bring an adequate supply of water (recommended 2 liters), backpack, rain gear (for heavy rain), umbrella (for light rain), appropriate clothing, sun hat, small towel, sunscreen, avoid wearing perfume (to prevent attracting insects), snacks, and any other necessary items.
