Description

The Bei Shi Stream is located in northern Taiwan and is one of the tributaries of the Xindian River. The gentle and safe water flow makes it an ideal choice for kayaking and river drifting activities.

Kayaking combines the fun of traditional river drifting with advanced challenges. Each player uses a kayak and a paddle to control the direction, experiencing the thrill of being in control while drifting.

Kayaking through the stream involves navigating through rocky terrain, sliding slopes, and V-shaped waterfalls, providing a thrilling experience similar to riding a natural roller coaster and feeling the adrenaline rush.

The kayaking activity in Bei Shi Stream not only allows beginners to safely enter the sport, but also provides a satisfying level of challenge and achievement.

Meeting Point

The meeting point will be communicated by the instructor after registration, based on the recent water conditions.

Target Participants

1. Participants aged 15 to 65 are welcome to join.

2. For safety reasons, please ensure that you are in good physical health and suitable for engaging in intense outdoor activities. Individuals with sudden illnesses, major diseases, cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, asthma, pregnant women, or those who are unable to complete the itinerary independently should refrain from signing up.

The minimum number of participants

1 person can sign up, and the activity will proceed with a minimum of 4 people.

2.If the number of participants is less than 4, the activity will be canceled and participants will be notified two days before the event.

Things to notice

1. The activity schedule may be adjusted due to the condition of participants, facility availability, and weather factors, with safety and overall quality being the top priorities. Do not remove safety equipment on your own unless instructed. In the event of loss or non-natural damage to public equipment during the activity, compensation will be required.

In the event of typhoons, heavy rain, water conditions, or other uncontrollable factors, if it is deemed unsuitable to proceed with the activity on the day, the company reserves the right to change or adjust the itinerary, including rescheduling or offering refunds (a handling and insurance fee of 100 yuan per person will be deducted from the refund).

2. If, upon arrival at the activity site on the day of the event, the coach determines that there are safety concerns and announces the cancellation of the activity, a personnel and insurance fee of 200 yuan per person will be deducted before the refund. No refund will be provided in the event of sudden weather changes during the activity, or if the activity is not completed due to safety considerations or personal factors.

3. Any personal behavior outside of coach instruction and regulation, such as distraction leading to accidents, disorderly conduct, straying from the group, approaching hazardous areas, contacting unknown organisms, or concealing physical conditions, will not be attributed to the leading coach. Participants will be responsible for subsequent rescue and medical treatment, and no refund will be provided. The participant and their legal guardian will not be able to file lawsuits or claims for compensation against the company and the coach.

4. Participants with significant medical conditions or who are unsuitable for excessive stimulation due to the following conditions are advised not to participate: pregnancy, asthma, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, high/low blood pressure, epilepsy, osteoporosis, claustrophobia, and those with a body weight exceeding 100 kilograms.

5. Photos and video files from the event may be used for the company's marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not agree to this, please notify the company in writing or through any official social media platform. Photos and videos taken during the event will be provided via cloud storage link within one week after the event, and the cloud files will be deleted one week after the link is provided.

6. In the event that a participant is diagnosed with COVID-19 or is unable to travel due to epidemic-related reasons after registration, the participant is still unable to cancel or receive a refund.

7. Participants cannot request for postponement or refund for personal reasons within the non-cancellable period. Examples of personal reasons include: diagnosis, injury, menstrual period, car accident, oversleeping, etc. Participants are responsible for reviewing and understanding these terms and conditions before making payment, and are responsible for assuming the related risks.

Late Arrival/No Show: Participants will be considered as automatically cancelling their registration if they arrive more than 10 minutes after the meeting time, and no waiting or midway entry will be accommodated. Participants who are unable to participate in the event due to late arrival/no show will not be eligible for a refund or postponement. In the case of slight delay (within 10 minutes), please notify the on-site staff 15-20 minutes before the meeting time.

8. Please carefully read the itinerary of the event and the provisions in this document. Completing the registration and payment is considered as a complete understanding and agreement to the content of this document and the details of the event itinerary.

Change of Date Policy

1. Changes to the date are allowed from 6 days to 4 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date).

2. However, changes are limited to once and only for events organized by the same organizer.

3. If there is a price difference after the change, the extra cost will be charged or the remaining amount will be refunded.

4. Events that have been rescheduled are non-refundable.

5. Changes to the date on the day of departure are not allowed.
