Description
Activity time: Please choose starting from two days from today (for example: if today is 1/1, the earliest booking date would be 1/3).
River tracing is an activity where participants climb upstream along the valley of a stream from its lower reaches.
Taiwan's location at the junction of tectonic plates has created many geographical environments that are perfect for river tracing.
With towering mountains, diverse types of stream valleys, and rich forest landscapes, there are plenty of options for river tracing routes and experiences.
UNIQUEFUN offers five main river tracing routes: Sanchian South, Sanchian North, Baibao Stream, Shapotang, and Emerald Valley.
Different river tracing routes offer different experiences due to their terrain. Activities like passing through waterfalls, rafting down cascades, cliff jumping, and trust games are available.
Sanchian South and Sanchian North:
The streams are relatively flat, suitable for families to explore together.
Sanchian North features spectacular canyon terrain, while Sanchian South boasts diverse and rich plant ecology.
Activities include rafting down cascades, cliff jumping, and trust games.
Baibao Stream:
Several water pools are formed by sand barriers, especially in the upstream mining areas where the riverbed is filled with gemstones, making it ideal for treasure hunting.
Activities include gemstone collecting and cliff jumping.
Shapotang:
With its clear blue-green water and massive boulders, Shapotang is perfect for photography enthusiasts and easily accessible.
Activities include passing through curtain waterfalls, rafting down cascades, cliff jumping, and trust games.
Emerald Valley (temporarily closed):
Deep within the Sanchian South stream lies the Golden Canyon, while Emerald Valley offers views of a smaller version of the Golden Canyon, ideal for those who enjoy scenic beauty.
Activities include passing through curtain waterfalls, rafting down cascades, cliff jumping, and trust games.
We aim to avoid overcrowding, which not only affects the experience but also raises safety concerns.
We recommend groups of fewer than 15 people for a more comfortable experience.
Groups of over 10 people can also specify their river tracing route.
